Parents
If you have a middle school or high school student in the house, you’ve come
to the right place! We’re happy to give you some insight into the world your
student lives in and some of the strange patterns you might be observing.
Although we may not be able to answer all your questions, we’re here to help
you along! Understanding each other is the first step to a harmonious home,
and we all want that, right?
Resources
From time to time, we post things here you might be looking for like permission slips,
and occasionally, we post a class you might be interested in.
So what does the Student Ministry do?
Grace’s Student Ministry is especially designed for 6th to 12th grade students.
Our vision is broken down into three areas. We want students to…
Know the Bible
The goal of the Student Ministry is to introduce students to who Jesus is and
teach them how to follow Him by learning what the Bible has to say about living
a full life. Teens are looking everywhere to find fulfillment and purpose—we know
that only comes from Jesus! We want to help them get connected and
begin to consider what they think about God.
Live in Biblical Community
We have small groups designed just for teens and parents of teens that meet once
a week. The students all meet together in prayer before breaking off into smaller
groups called Student Life Groups which are age and gender-specific. Separately,
parents have an opportunity to talk with other parents and learn God’s perspective
on navigating the teen years with their kids.
Give Themselves Away
Our Student Ministry also focuses on the importance of obeying Jesus’ teaching to
share what we’ve learned with others. We help students learn how to share their
faith and share truths they’ve learned in a sensitive, honest way with those
around them. Teens have an opportunity to live out their faith with generosity
and compassion through service projects and mission trips.
