TODAY’S VERSES:

Colossians 4:2-6

Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful. And pray for us, too, that God may open a door for our message, so that we may proclaim the mystery of Christ, for which I am in chains. Pray that I may proclaim it clearly, as I should.Be wise in the way you act toward outsiders; make the most of every opportunity. Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone.

TODAY’S THOUGHT:

As we read the Bible it is apparent that we are not just people whose story is what happens during their years on this planet, but we are eternal beings.  We also see that without the salvation offered by Jesus, we will not experience eternal life.  God is not wanting any to spend our lives or eternity away from Him. His heart is that way for our neighbors, co-workers, family members, teammates, friends and all the other over 7 billion people on this planet.  Who are three people I know that do not know God that I can intercede on their behalf and pray for to become followers of Jesus?

DO THIS:

Write down three names of people in your life that you will commit to pray for their salvation.

Come on out to Prayer Night tonight where we will pray for all of these names.

Tuesday, April 10th at 7pm in the Ghent Road Auditorium

Join us for an evening of interacting with God through prayer. As part of the What We Do Challenge, we will specifically be carving out time to pray for “Your Three”.  This is the idea that we would each think about three people we know that do not know God, and we would make a habit of praying for them to become followers of Jesus?
