Give It Away Classes with Gracestudy

Discovering Global Missions

A GO Team trip pre-requisite, this class takes a look at biblical foundations of our role in global missions, expectations, and overall strategies as we look to Give It Away around the World.

SHAPE: Discovering Yours

Discovering how God has wired and “shaped” you by exploring scripture and the different things that make you “you”. This class helps you discover not only how God has made you unique, but also how your uniqueness fits in the bigger picture of what God is doing. Learn what ministries and opportunities are available so you can pursue your spiritual passion.

Understanding Poverty

The Bible is clear that we should be concerned for the poor but to properly help, we must understand poverty better. This class will provide you with the structures, ideas, and concrete tools an individual needs to help prevent and reduce poverty. The class readings and homework will also help you establish a biblical foundation towards understanding poverty.

Essentials of Discipleship

The Essentials of Discipleship explains the essence and interworking of our mission as followers of Jesus Christ. The class covers the following topics: what the Gospel is and how it is the power of God to change lives, how to express what God has done in our lives, what it means to walk with God and interact with his Word, and how to help others become Christ followers and guide them as a disciple. Jumping into this foundational class will prepare you to minister effectively and enrich your relationship with Jesus.
