We love partnering with the local church within our global partnerships; it’s how we see a short term trip turn into life change! We have three GO Teams to be a part of in the next 6 months. There are two construction teams headed to Mazatlan (November ’17 and February ’18) and one team headed to Haiti in February! We are in need of carpenters, plumbers, painters, and electricians for Mazatlan. If you are interested in any of these trips the info meetings for all 3 trips will be August 26th at 6:45pm in Classrooms A (Haiti) and Classroom D (Mazatlan) or you can email Sarah Yajko at syajko@graceohio.org

South Street is hosting their 4th Annual Trails ‘N’ Rails family fun ride on September 30th! This is a fun way to support South Street as a family or life group! There is an option to ride or walk with a picnic carnival to wrap up the event. Supporting South Street in this way means that the ministry staff can focus more time building relationships in the community. To sign up you can follow this link.

Kenmore and Garfield High Schools are merging this year and First Glance is anticipating 300 new students will be taking part in their programming this fall! This means they are looking for about 40 new volunteers to help with after school tutoring, teen moms, rec night, meals and more! If you have been looking for a place to serve please check out First Glance! They are doing amazing work in Kenmore pouring into the lives of the teens in that community. You can email Jessica Swiger at First Glance to talk about where you can start. Her email is jessica@firstglance.org

Urban Vision is excited to be starting up their school programs in the next few weeks! They are in need of preschool teachers/assistants, after school tutors, and kids club help! Each volunteer that is able to come and give a few hours each week means that more kids in the community benefit from deeper relationships and the gospel being heard! To find out how you can be a part of what Urban Vision is doing email Regina Lewis at regina@urbanvisionministry.org
