VIP is our special needs ministry that supports and encourages children with disabilities and their families.

The main focus of our VIP ministry is to provide an appropriate and supportive Christian setting for children and students with special needs so parents can comfortably attend worship. Kids can be placed in the traditional Grace Church POWER Kids with one-on-one assistance, as needed, or participate in a special classroom that includes a higher ratio of teachers and helpers. Our VIP volunteer team is made up of experienced volunteers who work weekly with our children with special needs.

Sunday VIP Class:

The VIP Class serves children whose needs are not met in the traditional POWER Kids Class setting. In addition to singing, crafts and story time, trained volunteers adapt Bible lessons and related activities in a safe atmosphere where each individual is loved and valued as a child of God.

Currently our VIP class meets during the Sunday 9am service in the lower portion of the Ghent Road building, in the POWER Kids area.

Every quarter, we have a night out for parents of children with special needs here at Grace Church. We plan a special activity for our VIP kids and their siblings while parents enjoy a night out. If you have friends or family who are parents of children with special needs, invite them to this event.

Please contact to find out more about VIP Night Out.

VIP Buddy Ministry:

We value meeting the spiritual needs of children with disabilities through the Grace Church POWER Kids program. VIP Buddies facilitate the inclusion of the child with special needs in the regular POWER Kids classroom. Each one, as needed, is provided a VIP Buddy who comes alongside to help him/her make friends, participate in activities, and learn about Jesus.
